Meeting on 21st August at Timber Creek was great it only cost each rig $39.00 for camping for the weekend which included the rental of the banquet hall and a catered meal on Friday night. There was lots of food thanks to our Host Owana & Dave Owens. We had Tacos on Thursday night, Friday night Pork Steaks and Chicken Breasts with baked Beans and Potatoes Salad, Saturday Morning was Biscuits and gravy scrambled eggs and sausage and coffee with the new coffee pot. Lunch was on your own or Tacos, Saturday night was Pot luck Owana brought a ham and there were assorted potatoes, Deviled eggs, vegetables Cottage cheese with peaches and chocolate cake and more. It was a great weekend except for the storm Friday night but at least it happened late, lots of rain and lighting. We had lots of fun playing cards, 5 hole golf course, miniature golf and shuffle board outside.
Nomination committee (Rich Kleeb, Angie Jakoubek and Jim Hartley) would like for you to submit your nominations for club officers which will be elected in October. Ballots for voting will be sent out in the September and then you will vote and return them to Janet Campbell via mail, the address will be on the ballot. Current nominees are President Dennis Gentry, Vice President Rich Kleeb, Secretary Janet Campbell, Treasurer Janice Hartley, Wing master Steve Ellis and Cheer Person Evelyn Kleeb. Membership Dues
The membership dues shall be $5.00 per year, due January 1st. We are very lax about the dues but if not paid by April 30th, you will be dropped from the Club membership.
Also pay your Eagle Fleet Dues by 1 October 2010 $36.00 per year.
